Can the advent of the four door Porsche sedan be anymore god-like? When Porsche added two extra doors and a hatchback in 2010 the world didn’t know what hit them.
Luxury and Porsche weren’t synonymous twenty years ago, and when a market for luxury and performance vehicles emerged Porsche capitalized on it. With enough inside room for party guests, groceries and enough stereo equipment for an impromptu party.
I found this white Panamera Turbo parked next to a Porsche 993 Carrera RS dwarfing it – although the camera lens doesn’t show it here. And seeing them side by side is a superb example of how far Porsche engineering and design has come since the mid 1990s. With 20 years of advancements in aerodynamics and technology since, the Panamera changed the game and invented a whole other category: the four door Porsche.
As the cult following continues to grow for the Porsche Panamera so do the sales, and when you’re seated in the most comfortable and powerful sports luxury vehicle on the road it can be downright holy.
